This diary is a chronicle of my fight to survive after being diagnosed with the Bulbar Onset version of Motor Neurone Disease in October 2016. It begins in August 2017 because ten months after diagnosis was the first point I felt able to step back and put some thoughts on paper. It's full of tears and laughter, sadness and joy as I begin a journey I never thought I would have to embark on. These words are for people who want to understand from the inside what it's like to be hit with this disease. I am putting it online because many have already expressed how it has helped them.
